Mindfulness goes way beyond noticing your breath and trying to stay calm.

Daron Larson discovered from personal experience that consistent practice really can make ordinary moments better — including the uncomfortable ones.

Daron is a mindfulness coach who encourages people to develop focus, self-awareness, and resilience. As a parent, social worker, information specialist, and librarian, he has always found purpose in identifying relevant resources to help people more effectively navigate personal and professional challenges.

Daron has practiced mindfulness daily since 2002 and brings his personal expertise and in-depth training to individuals, small groups and organizations around the world. Using his Attentional Fitness philosophy, Daron meets his trainees where they are and provides personalized guidance, exercises and resources to help them further their mindfulness practice beyond what they could do on their own.

More than sitting still and noticing their breath, trainees take action and ownership over their mental strength and emotional agility. In the end, they realize becoming more present is a trainable skill and it’s possible to experience a more satisfying relationship with life in an increasingly distracting world.

Daron is based in Columbus, Ohio and works with clients all around the world.

Accomplishments and Accolades

Imagine being able to get better at feeling your unpleasant emotions without taking them as personally and fighting with them less. This kind of objectivity is a trainable ability that not enough people realize is possible.
